Martin A. Bieber is an Officer of the Corporation of Kennedy Health System and an Ex-Officio of the Kennedy University Hospital Board of Trustees. He is a member of the Board of the following: Kennedy Health Facilities, Inc.; Kennedy Management Group; Kennedy Property Corporation; Kennedy Health Alliance and Professional Medical Management and Subsidiary Kennedy Medical Equipment. Mr. Bieber serves on the following Board committees: By-Laws & Rules and Professional Affairs.
President & CEO of the Kennedy Health System, Mr. Bieber joined the organization in 2006. Since that time, he has successfully spearheaded efforts to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction scores, while strengthening its relationship with the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine through the growth of its primary care physician network. During his tenure, Kennedy joined the Penn Cancer Network, the Jefferson Neuroscience Network and welcomed acclaimed Rothman Orthopaedics to Kennedy, among other achievements.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Mr. Bieber worked for 14 years with Catholic Health Services of Long Island, NY. There, he served for two years as President & CEO of Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, NY, and for 12 years at the System’s flagship hospital, St. Francis Hospital - The Heart Center, in Roslyn, NY.
Mr. Bieber is a Fellow of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society, and holds a master’s degree in health services administration from the New School for Social Research in New York City. He is a member of numerous healthcare organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives, the College of Health Information Management Executives, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. In 2011, he was named Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bancroft, a South Jersey-based leading non-profit organization serving people with neurological challenges.
Mr. Bieber and his wife, Michele, reside in Monroe Township, NJ.
