William R. Barker is a member of the Kennedy University Hospital Board of Trustees and the Board’s Facilities Committee.
Mr. Barker currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board of GroGlass, LLC, Riga, Latvia, an international high-tech company specializing in anti-reflective glass manufacturing.
He retired in December 2004 as Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing with Denglas Technologies of Moorestown, NJ, a position he held for five years. From 1990 to 1998, Mr. Barker was Owner, Director and Vice President of Tri Star International, a hardware and general merchandise importer, distributor and marketer.
His extensive professional career also includes having served as President of Prince Foods, a Division of Borden Inc., and as Vice President/Marketing with Chesebrough-Ponds Health & Beauty Products Division.
Mr. Barker’s many volunteer community activities have included serving as Chair of the Moorestown Township, NJ, Planning Board; as a Board of Governors member of the Burlington and Camden County YMCAs; as Past Chair of the Burlington County YMCA Advisory Board, and as Vice President of the Y Service Club of Burlington and Camden County; as a Public Member of the District IIIB Office of Attorney Ethics; and as a member of the Greater Philadelphia Regional Cabinet of Washington University in St. Louis and Chair of the University’s Eliot Society Campaign Committee.
Mr. Barker is Past Warden and current Vestry Person at Trinity Episcopal Church in Moorestown. He had previously served as President and Board member of Laurel Creek Condominium Association in Moorestown.
A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, MO, Mr. Barker earned his MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1966.
He and his wife, Mary, reside in Moorestown, NJ.
