|Dr. Anthony Brown|
Anthony Brown, D.O., is a member of the Kennedy University Hospital Board of Trustees. Chief of the Kennedy Medical Staff in 2011 and 2012, he is a board-certified Nephrologist, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM).
Dr. Brown earned both his B.A. in biology and an M.S. in Physiological Chemistry from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, in 1984, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wright Patterson Medical Center in Ohio in 1988. Dr. Brown also completed a two-year Fellowship in Nephrology at the University of California and Naval Hospital in San Diego in 1991.
Dr. Brown’s military career included serving with the United States Air Force Reserve as a 2nd Lieutenant from 1980 - 1984, as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force from 1985 - 1991 and as a Major in the Air Force from 1991 - 1995. During that time, he served in various capabilities as a nephrologist/medical director at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio and at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.
Dr. Brown is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, and a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Renal Physicians Association.
He resides in Medford, NJ, with his wife, Georgene.
