Kennedy demonstrates its strong commitment to the professional development of nurses through its nursing Leadership Academy. The Academy, which supports Kennedy’s Shared Governance nursing model, is designed for nurse executives, managers and charge nurses and provides level-specific skills, such as leadership styles, financial management, strategic planning and managing priorities. Participants learn how to delegate, manage data, build teams, motivate fellow associates, improve communications skills and make staff feel comfortable with change and the change process.
