Podiatry Residency
Kennedy University Hospital has a three year podiatry residency program approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. This program affords residents educational experience in both the acute care and ambulatory settings.

Pharmacy Residency
Kennedy Health System (KHS) offers a postgraduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency training program that is currently under candidate status by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).

Rowan-SOM and Kennedy Health System Sponsored Programs

Kennedy University Hospital serves as the Principle Hospital training site for the RowanSOM, formerly UMDNJ-SOM OPTI Graduate Medical Education Programs.  Together with Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, more than 225 house staff train in our hospitals.  All programs are AOA accredited.

With approximately 60 positions each year, we offer OGME -1R positions in:

  • Family Medicine
  • Internal Medicine
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Internal Medicine/Emergency Medicine
  • General Surgery
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Orthopedic Surgery
  • Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery
  • Psychiatry
  • Urological Surgery

We also offer OGME -1T positions in the Traditional Rotating Internship.

Residency programs include all of the above listed positions as well as a Residency Plus 1 in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM/OMM +1).
