|Food Drive a Huge Success|
Responding to the needs of more than 90,000 people in South Jersey who go hungry each week, residents from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-
School of Osteopathic Medicine (UMDNJ-SOM) collected more than 2,030 pounds of non-perishable food items at five area locations in late May.
The food was delivered to the South Jersey Food Bank in early June for distribution to needy area families. Several of the residents involved in the program are shown at Kennedy University Hospital in Stratford during the food pick-up there.
