Maria Jones, BS, RN, CWOCN, DAPWCA, FMNLI, a Wound Care Specialist based at Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ, was named “Wound/Ostomy/Continence Nurse (WOCN) of the Year” by the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc (UOAA). Ms. Jones was honored at awards ceremony held at the WOCN Society’s Annual Conference on June 10th in Charlotte, NC.

Kennedy University Hospital in Washington Township, NJ, has been selected to participate in Best Fed Beginnings, a first-of-its-kind national effort to significantly improve breastfeeding rates in states where rates are currently the lowest. Kennedy is the only hospital southern New Jersey chosen to participate in the initiative and one of only two in the entire state of New Jersey.
