Saving Lives Through Lung Cancer Screening

Read more...More people in the United States die from lung cancer than any other type of cancer. In fact, lung cancer causes more deaths than colorectal, breast and prostate cancers combined.

Research shows that screening with low-dose CT lung scans reduces the number of lung cancer deaths by 20 percent. Kennedy Health, a member of the Penn Cancer Network, has been leading regional efforts to provide early lung cancer screenings to area residents.
