James Huynh, Vice President of Facilities Management with the Kennedy Health System, was honored as a Gloucester County Red Cross Hero on September 1st. Huynh, a member of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross’ Gloucester County Chapter, is one of four South Jersey residents honored at the event, held at the Adelphia Grand Ballroom in Deptford, NJ.

A Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the new and expanded Emergency Department at Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill was held on August 30th. The $9.7 million 5,000 square-foot expansion project greatly increases the size of the existing ED, bringing the square-footage from 7,600 feet to 12,600 feet, and the number of ED treatment bays from 17 to 29.

Blackwood, NJ, resident Vera Brown, 61, was diagnosed with Diabetes at the end of March and began her journey with the Kennedy Diabetes Control Center classes at Washington Township in April.
