Kennedy's 2010 Golf Outing!!

On September 28th, the Kennedy Health System will sponsor a day of golfing, fine food and camaraderie - all for a great cause! Join us for a fun-filled day on the links raising money to benefit our tiniest patients through the Neonatal Intensive Care Equipment Fund. The prestigious and private Galloway National Golf Course will again be the venue for the 2010 event where physicians, board members and Kennedy supporters can get to know one another in a relaxed atmosphere.

Kennedy Celebrates World Breastfeeding Week – August 1-7

Read more...According the World Health Organization, adequate breastfeeding support for mothers and families could save many young lives. Lactation Consultant Joanne Naughton, RN, CCE, IBCLC, has noticed the breastfeeding has been increasing within the community.

Donna Carter of West Deptford, planned to breastfeed her first child for the mother-child bonding and cost savings but when her daughter was born at 24 weeks, weighing 1 lb., 6 oz., it became even more critical that Baby Camille receive the nourishing and immunological benefits of breast milk.
