Kennedy Health Recognizes Nurse Department Staff with ‘Power of One’ Award

Read more... Nine Kennedy Health Nursing Department associates – including Registered Nurses, Advance Practice Nurses, and Patient Care Technicians -- been named recipients of the 2015 Kennedy “Power of One” Nursing Award.

Awards were presented in three categories: for Clinical Associates (one from each Kennedy hospital, as well as from an outpatient location), Clinical Nurses (one from each hospital, as well as an outpatient location) and a system-wide selected Nurse Leader.

Read more... For the third year in a row, Kennedy Nurses offered their support to our troops during National Nurses Week, with a special donation of brownies.

Kennedy again partnered with to donate more than 1,200 gourmet brownies to military personnel stationed at joint base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ.

The donation ties in with the National Nurses Week celebration held May 4-8th at the health system, which has hospital campuses in Cherry Hill, Stratford and Washington Township, NJ.

Certified mastectomy fitters Mary Price, RN, BSN, CMF, and Jennifer Chiarello, CMF, are holding a private fitting event for women who have had lumpectomy or mastectomy surgery,Thursday, May 14 from 4:30pm to 6pm at the Kennedy Cancer Center, Center for Hope & Healing.

Mary and Jennifer will work individually with attendees in the privacy of the Center for Hope & Healing to address their specific needs.
Kennedy Health Breaks Ground for Start of $200 million campus renovation in Cherry Hill

A Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on April 30th at Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill to mark the first phase of a $200 million campus revitalization project.

Hundreds of honored guests and political dignitaries attended $65-million Phase 1 project launch, which will include a 102,000-square foot Outpatient Pavilion featuring an array of patient services; an enclosed, free parking facility; and a new atrium lobby at the hospital campus, which originally opened in 1960.

Celebrate Life at Kennedy’s Cancer Survivors Day & 5K Run/Walk June 7th

For the fifth consecutive year, Kennedy Health will host a day of fun-filled festivities to celebrate Cancer Survivors Day at Washington Lake Park, 626 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, in Sewell, NJ.

This year's event includes Kennedy's first-ever 5K run/walk – on a USATF-Certified K Course – which kicks off the day at 9:30am (registration 8am).
