Kennedy Health Recognizes Nurse Department Staff with ‘Power of One’ Award

Read more... Nine Kennedy Health Nursing Department associates – including Registered Nurses, Advance Practice Nurses, and Patient Care Technicians -- been named recipients of the 2015 Kennedy “Power of One” Nursing Award.

Awards were presented in three categories: for Clinical Associates (one from each Kennedy hospital, as well as from an outpatient location), Clinical Nurses (one from each hospital, as well as an outpatient location) and a system-wide selected Nurse Leader.

KENNEDY NURSES DONATE BROWNIES TO TROOPS

Read more... For the third year in a row, Kennedy Nurses offered their support to our troops during National Nurses Week, with a special donation of brownies.

Kennedy again partnered with BakeMeAWish.com to donate more than 1,200 gourmet brownies to military personnel stationed at joint base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ.

The donation ties in with the National Nurses Week celebration held May 4-8th at the health system, which has hospital campuses in Cherry Hill, Stratford and Washington Township, NJ.

Shown at the delivery are: Paula Redden (left), community outreach representative for Ft. Dix; and April Hale, BSN, RN, Corporate Director of Nursing at Kennedy University Hospital.

Kennedy Health Breaks Ground for Start of $200 million campus renovation in Cherry Hill

A Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on April 30th at Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill to mark the first phase of a $200 million campus revitalization project.

Hundreds of honored guests and political dignitaries attended $65-million Phase 1 project launch, which will include a 102,000-square foot Outpatient Pavilion featuring an array of patient services; an enclosed, free parking facility; and a new atrium lobby at the hospital campus, which originally opened in 1960.
