Kennedy Elects New Medical Staff Officers

Anthony Brown, D.O ., has been elected Chief of Staff of South Jersey, NJ-based Kennedy University Hospitals. Melanie Angelo D.O. has been named Vice Chief of Staff, and Todd P. Levin, D.O. has been elected Treasurer. All three terms are for two years. The election was held at the recent annual Medical Staff meeting.

The Medical Staff Officers represent the interests of Kennedy physicians, and work closely with administration in strategic planning and other healthcare delivery issues. They are also responsible for spearheading community service activities sponsored by their constituents.

Dr. Brown is a board certified nephrologist with Nephrology & Hypertension Associates of New Jersey in Stratford. He is also board certified in Internal Medicine. A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, he additionally holds a master's degree in physiological chemistry Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Brown resides in Medford, NJ.

Dr. Angelo is Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill. A 1998 graduate of the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Angelo is board certified in Emergency Medicine and lives in Haddonfield, NJ.

Dr. Levin is an infectious diseases specialist with Garden State Infectious Diseases Associates, P.A. in Voorhees, NJ. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. A graduate of Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downer's Grove, IL, Dr. Levin also holds a master's degree in biology from New York University. He resides in Philadelphia, Pa.
