|Monday, May 09, 2011|
May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month! Free skin cancer screenings are being offered at the Kennedy Cancer Center, 900 Medical Center Drive, Washington Township, NJ, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25th.
The screenings will be conducted by Kennedy dermatologists Dr. Jonathan Winter, Dr. K. Michael Li and Dr. Elana Segal. The screenings are open to all, but are of particular importance to individuals with many moles and/or a family history of skin cancer, or those who have had a severe sunburn or significant sun exposure. The skin cancer screening is a visual inspection of the skin; no blood work is taken. Screenings take only about 10 minutes.
