|Kennedy Cancer Center Hosts Annual Tree Light Ceremony|
|Friday, November 25, 2011|
The Kennedy Cancer Center in Washington Township, NJ, recently hosted a Tree of Lights Remembrance Ceremony. More than 100 names of people who have passed away or who are cancer survivors were added to the tree, which stands outside of the Cancer Center on Medical Center Drive. Lights were illuminated to represent the loved ones whose names were submitted by South Jersey residents.
Pictured, Oncology Nurse Navigator Eric Gonzalez, RN, OCN, and Radiation Oncology Patient Services Representative Kathleen Caruso attach ribbons with names of remembered loved ones to the evergreen tree. The ceremony included musical performances and refreshments in the Cancer Center’s Hope & Healing Wellness Room.
