Beginning in June 2012, the Kennedy Health System's wound care center will operate with a new clinical partner to deliver an advanced level of outpatient wound care.

The newly-named Center for Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Kennedy, located on its Washington Township, NJ, campus, will be operated in conjunction with Accelecare®, a national leader in advanced wound care.
Accelecare®, which operates wound care centers in 28 states across the country, is now the second largest wound management provider in the U.S., and has a strong reputation for clinical excellence, using evidence-based treatment guidelines.

Chronic wounds caused by diabetes, poor circulation, prior radiation treatments, and other conditions, keep millions of Americans from doing the things they love. The Center for Advanced Wound Healing at Kennedy & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can help those suffering from chronic wounds enjoy a better quality of life.

The medical team at The Center for Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Kennedy works with a patient's regular physician to develop treatment plans and will keep their doctor updated on progress. The Center offers advanced treatment modalities that include Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), which enhances the body's natural healing and strengthens the immune system through pressurized oxygen delivered to patients while in a private hyperbaric chamber.

If you or a loved one suffer from chronic wounds, talk to your doctor about receiving treatment with us, or you may schedule your own appointment by calling 1-866-KHS-HEAL (1-866-547-4325).
