|Gui Valladares Named Vice President of Finance at Kennedy|

Gui Valladares, MBA, has been named Vice President of Finance for the Kennedy Health System, an integrated healthcare delivery system in southern New Jersey. In this key role, he will oversee the general accounting, budget and reimbursement, and financial planning functions for Kennedy, which has more than 4,000 associates at its three hospital campuses and at various support facilities.
Mr. Valladares is a seasoned healthcare finance executive with a strong background in analysis, accounting, budgets, decision support, and expense management. Prior to joining Kennedy, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHI) in Baltimore, MD, where he was responsible for all matters related to JHI’s financial management. JHI manages a number of Hopkins affiliates worldwide and coordinates the care of international patients who go to Baltimore for treatment.
Mr. Valladares has worked for a number of hospitals in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Immediately prior to JHI, Mr. Valladares was the Corporate Director of Finance for Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD, a fully-owned entity of the Johns Hopkins Health System.
Mr. Valladares is a 1995 graduate of Western Maryland College in Westminster, where he double majored, earning a BA in both Business Administration and Economics. He went on to earn a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 2000 from Loyola University’s Joseph A. Sellinger School of Business in Baltimore.
Mr. Valladares will reside in South Jersey with his wife, Katryn, and their two children.
