CME Lecture Event: Current Trends in Breast Cancer

Join us on Wednesday, May 15th for an educational program designed to give primary care physicians and other health care providers education in the care of breast cancer patients. This course will also provide education in breast cancer screening, breast cancer risk factors, breast genomics, new treatment advances, radiation technology and telemedicine.

Program Objectives
At the completion of this conference, participants should be able to:
  • Understand the utility of the oncotype in its role in determining hormonal therapy alone or in combination with chemotherapy in treatment of patients with early stage breast cancer
  • Define the evolving surgical management of the axilla in breast cancer
  • Identify the controversies in breast cancer screening guidelines
  • Discuss current technological advances in diagnosing breast cancer
  • Discuss innovative pilot study of telemedicine delivery of breast cancer genetic services with Kennedy Health System
