|Anneliese McMenamin, SPHR, Named Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year|

Anneliese McMenamin, V.P. of Human Resources for the South Jersey-based Kennedy Health System, was recently named “Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year” by the regional chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She won in the category of organizations with more than 2001 employees. This award was developed in 2001 to recognize human resources professionals who exemplify outstanding achievement within their local community.
McMenamin has more than 23 years experience in all aspects of HR. In her six years as a Vice President at Kennedy, she has created an Occupational/Employee Health facility to address increases in work-related injuries and workers’ compensation premiums and has developed a Diversity Initiative to generate a more inclusive work environment. She has also spearheaded the hiring of a new President and CEO, CFO and Chief Medical Officer.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, McMenamin volunteers as a board member for the Food Bank of South Jersey and actively supports the American Cancer Society’s Bike Ride.
A graduate of LaSalle University with a B.S. in Human Resource Management, McMenamin has also earned her certification from the Society for Human Resources Management and a certificate in human resources from Villanova University. A resident of Elkins Park, Pa., McMenamin is married and the mother of two daughters.
