The Kennedy Cancer Center was one of three South Jersey cancer organizations that was a benefactor of $165,000 donated by the Barbara Cook Cancer Foundation (BCCF), raised through the recent 6th Annual Bill Bottino Mud Run held in mid-September.

Kennedy, a corporate sponsor and first-time participant in the one-day event, will use its portion of the donation to support programs through its Patient Assistance Fund at the Kennedy Cancer Center in Washington Township, NJ. Dozens of Kennedy associates took part in the fun-filled four-mile Mud Run, raising money for its cause, including Kennedy Cancer Program Administrator Louise Baca, MSN, RN, shown left. To the right is Barbara Ciaramella, MSN, Kennedy’s Vice President of Product Lines. The two were on hand for the recent check presentation event, held at Quality Hyundai in Millville, of which the late Barbara Cook was co-owner with her husband, Marty.
