Rhonda Costello

Rhonda S. Costello has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Kennedy University Hospital in southern New Jersey for a one-year term. Ms. Costello is Executive Vice President/Chief Retail Officer of Republic Bank, which in June of 2013 was ranked the third fastest-growing public company in the region by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

A member of Republic Bank’s leadership team since 2008, Ms. Costello had previously served with Commerce/TD Bank for 23 years, where she held various senior leadership positions, including Regional Vice President and Dean of Commerce University.

In her role at Republic Bank, Ms. Costello is responsible for directing the success of Republic’s store network. Additionally, she oversees Cash Management/Government Banking, Consumer Lending, Store Administration, Learning and Development, Facilities, and Marketing.

A graduate of American Bankers Association’s Commercial Lending School, Ms. Costello also attended Gloucester County College in southern NJ. She is a member of the Union League of Philadelphia, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the South Jersey Bankers Association and the South Jersey Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Costello also serves as a Trustee of the volunteer organization, The Joseph Fund, which supports the Ministries of the St. Joseph’s Pro-Cathedral in providing assistance to the people of Camden, NJ.

The mother of two grown children, Ms. Costello resides in Mount Laurel, NJ, with her husband, Fran.
