Dr. Donald Barone serves on both the Kennedy Health Board of Directors and the Kennedy University Hospital Board of Trustees for over 20 years. He serves on the Health System Board’s Executive & Finance and Nominating committees; and on the Hospital Board’s Professional Affairs, Nominating, and Compensation committees.

An Associate Professor, Chief of the Division of Neurology at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (Rowan SOM), Dr. Barone is a Consulting Neurologist at Kennedy University Hospital, and served as the Section Head of Neurology from 1979 to 1998, accepting this position again in 2011. He is the Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center of South Jersey, and Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic at Kennedy University Hospital.

Dr. Barone serves on the Clinical Advisory Committees for the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter-National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, and the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation-Garden State Chapter.

A graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Barone served an internship at Kennedy-Stratford, a Neurology Residency at University of Vermont College of Medicine-Hospital, and a Muscular Dystrophy Association-funded Fellowship in Neuromuscular Diseases at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center.

Dr. Barone and his wife, Kathleen, reside in Westhampton, NJ.
