Employee's First Walk-in Care Visit Leaves Lasting Impression
Irit Smith, Credentialing Specialist at Jefferson Health – New Jersey, was feeling "under the weather" in the middle of the work day, when she decided she needed to see a doctor sooner, rather than later.
She called the Stratford Care Now office to schedule an appointment, but to her surprise, she was told to head over without one.
“I figured I would need to take an extended lunch, because this was going to take more than 30 minutes,” Irit said. “But, I signed in and didn’t even have to wait two minutes before I was taken back and triaged.”
It was Irit’s first visit at Care Now for their walk-in care services, and she was treated by Amy Carlin, MS, PA-C, for strep throat.
“Everyone was very courteous and professional,” Irit said. “It was quick too. I was in and out, but I didn’t feel rushed at all. They truly handled me with care, which is exactly what a tired, sick patient wants.”
Irit watched as other patients were also seen just as quickly as she was.
“This was much faster and much simpler than the typical urgent care that I go to with my two children,” Irit explained.
Not only was Irit taken care of in a quick and compassionate manner, but she received quality care. Having prior experience working in a physician’s office, she notices when something isn’t done right and appreciates it greatly when things are.
“My vitals were taken, all questions were asked,” Irit said. “I know the procedures, I know the steps, and they did not skip anything.”
“When I came back to the office, I was so impressed by the care that I told everyone,” Irit continued. “It was my first time, but I’ll definitely go back.”
You can receive the same immediate and compassionate care that Irit did at either of our convenient locations in Stratford and Washington Township.
