Jefferson Health Celebrates ‘Bombas Sock Day’ by Donating Socks to Area Locations in Need
September 21, 2018
It seems like only yesterday, but back in May we celebrated National Hospital Week by giving out Bombas Socks to all of our associates as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication to our patients. If you are familiar with Bombas you know that the brand donates a pair of socks for every pair purchased.
Instead of Bombas distributing the socks to the community, we chose to do it ourselves during ‘Bombas Sock Day!’ Yesterday, associates from across the division came together to distribute 16 boxes filled with 4,000 pairs of socks to those in need at the Robins Nest in Glassboro, Washington Township ED, Family Health Services/ WT, Stratford ED, Family Health Services/ Somerdale Square, Cherry Hill ED, Behavioral Health Services/ CH, and The Joseph Fund of Camden. Representatives from each location accepted the donation with open arms and will give the socks to patients in need.
We would like to express our appreciation to all of the associates who helped distribute thousands of socks throughout the day. We couldn’t have done it without you!
