Patient Spreads Holiday Cheer with a Gift from the Heart
Holiday cheer is in the air. This is especially true for the Washington Township Primary & Specialty Care office in Sewell, New Jersey.
On a day much like any other, Dale Ford came in for his appointment to see his Primary Care Provider, Dr. Deborah Ubele. As a long-time patient of the office - he knew the associates well.
With the holiday season in full swing, and his love for the holidays at its peak, he wanted to share his appreciation with a gift from the heart. Surprising everyone at the office, he presented a painting of Santa, reindeer and a Christmas story, based on The Night Before Christmas, that incorporated the staff he cares so much for. Being a full-time artist before falling ill, he knew making something with his own two hands would make their day.
When asked why he decided to create such a special gift, Dale said, “Dr. Ubele, the offices’ associates and the other members of Jefferson I’ve met with, have helped me a great deal over the years. I’m very ill and wouldn’t be here without their care and support. They have truly saved my life.”
Dale’s artwork and Christmas story are displayed for all to see in the office’s lobby. He hopes his gift will continue to bring joy and cheer to all who visit for the rest of the year!
