Registration for this event is now closed.
Prepares young people ages 11 and older for the responsibility of babysitting. This class consists of two sessions and is held on two consecutive Saturday mornings in Washington Township. Attendance at both sessions is mandatory to receive certification.

Topics include:

•Babysitting Responsibilities
•Growth and Development of Infant and Children
•Characteristics of Children
•Individual Needs of Children
•Playtime (students must bring a toy to 1st class)
•Supervising Children, Basic Care (students must bring a doll for both classes)
•Feeding an Infant and Child
•Preventing Accidents and Personal Safety
•First Aid Skills
•Emergency Actions
•Job Hunting
•Final Exam

All classes are held from 9 AM to 1 PM.  Classes start promptly at 9 am and end at 1 pm.  Students must bring their lunch and bottled water.

We can accommodate groups of 15 or more at your site.
