Carman Ciervo, DO, FACOFP
Executive Vice President & Chief Physician Executive
Carman A. Ciervo, D.O., FACOFP, is Executive Vice President & Chief Physician Executive at Jefferson Health New Jersey. In this role, Dr. Ciervo works directly with President & CEO Joseph W. Devine in providing oversight of the multi-hospital system’s strategic growth and initiatives in several key areas. He also works with other Jefferson Health New Jersey leaders and staff to advance the organization’s mission, expand services and continue to grow physician services for area community members. Dr. Ciervo plays a key role in Jefferson Health New Jersey’s continued growth and transformation, working directly on hospital and health system initiatives related to the employed-physician model, population health, and clinical excellence. He also oversees management and operations of Jefferson's quickly growing network of primary and specialty care physician practices in New Jersey. As a member of the Board of Governors for the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) (2010-2015), Dr. Ciervo was honored by the organization as a “Guardian of the Profession” in 2014 for demonstrating a strong sense of pride in the osteopathic medical profession and for working actively to advance osteopathic medicine. Dr. Ciervo has served on the ACOFP’S Industry Relations Committee, as Chair of the In-service Exam Committee, and Vice Chair of the Committee on Evaluation and Education. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians State Society, and the President’s Council for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. Dr. Ciervo has been honored by South Jersey and SJ magazines as a “Top Doc” in various physician and reader polls. In 2015, he named a “Healthcare Hero” by SJBiz Magazine, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame of Camden Catholic High School (CCHS), where he graduated from in 1980. An inductee into the AOA Mentor Hall of Fame, Dr. Ciervo has conducted numerous clinical trials, has obtained several million dollars in grant funding for education and research, and has presented at more than 100 national speaking engagements. Additionally, he has published more than 25 peer-reviewed articles for medical journals. The father of a college-age daughter, Dr. Ciervo resides with his wife, headache specialist Loretta Mueller, D.O., in Haddonfield, NJ. He practices Family Medicine in Marlton, NJ.
Anthony Wehbe, DO, MBA, FACOI
Chief Population Health Executive
Anthony Wehbe, DO, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, as well as a Masters in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Wehbe was voted “Top Doc” by South Jersey Magazine in 2013 and 2014. In 2015, he was awarded “Teacher of the Year” from Rowan University SOM’s intern residency class. Currently serving as chair of the American College of Osteopathic Internist’s IT committee, he is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Osteopathic Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Wehbe serves on multiple committees at Jefferson Health in New Jersey, including the Ethics Committee and the Patient Safety Committee. At the 2015 International Cleveland Clinic Patient Experience Conference, he presented on engaging physicians with patient experience. In his current role, Dr. Wehbe will oversee operations of the primary and specialty care network, Jefferson Family Health Services Center, Jefferson Home Care and the Jefferson Health Care Center in New Jersey.
Greg Taylor, DO
Senior Medical Director, Primary Care
Greg Taylor, D.O., earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rutgers University, and a Doctor of Osteopathy from UMDNJ-SOM (now Rowan University-SOM). He has been practicing family medicine for ten years in the South Jersey area. Dr. Taylor also serves as a Clinical Preceptor for medical students at Rowan University School of Medicine and is an active member of multiple committees, including AmeriHealth NJ’s Clinical Quality Committee and UMDNJ-SOM’s Admissions Committee. Dr. Taylor joined the primary and specialty care network in 2013 and currently serves as the primary and specialty care Medical Director in Washington Township, NJ.
Amanda Kimmel, MSW
Assistant Vice President for Population Health
Amanda Kimmel, MSW, earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. With more than 16 years experience working with nonprofit organizations and healthcare facilities, Ms. Kimmel has demonstrated strengths in hands-on leadership, organization management, and strategic planning. She previously served as Corporate Director for Clinical Integration, where she lead strategic clinical initiatives at that focused on patient outcomes, population health management, and innovative processes that support high quality, comprehensive healthcare. In her current role, Ms. Kimmel provides complete oversight of the primary and specialty care physician offices, clinical integration, Transitions of Care, health innovations programs and market development in New Jersey. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers and was named a Super Woman of South Jersey by South Jersey Magazine in 2017.
Jennifer Lucas, MBA
Senior Director of Finance & Decision Support
Jennifer Lucas, MBA, earned both her undergraduate degree and her MBA from Philadelphia's LaSalle University. She also undertook Continuing Professional Development training in Strategic Decision-Making from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Executive Education Program. With more than 15 years of professional experience, Jennifer has held positions as Controller and Director of Finance at top healthcare organizations in the region. In this position, Jennifer is responsible for complete oversight of the primary and specialty care network finance, revenue cycle, decision support, credentialing, and contracting departments in New Jersey.
Matthew J. Gettings, DO
Director of Quality & Innovation
Matthew J. Gettings, D.O., earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University-SOM. Certified by National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, Dr. Gettings is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Before joining KHA, Dr. Gettings served as a Physician Champion in Family Medicine and held positions on the Best Practice Design Committee and Ambulatory EHR Triage Committee. He has also served as a board member of an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). Dr. Gettings brings his leadership experience and quality care to Jefferson Health, where he serves as Director of Quality & Innovation.
Brian McNicholas, BSN, RN, MPH
Director of Operational Excellence
Brian McNicholas earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Temple University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. With more than 8 years of experience working in primary care and community health, he has an in-depth knowledge of healthcare management, operations, and revenue cycle. Brian joined the primary and specialty care leadership team in 2017 and in his current role serves as Director of Operational Excellence.
Demetria A. Merceir, MBA
Director, IT Applications
Demetria A. Merceir earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Hampton University and a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. Mrs. Merceir has more than 15 years of application and project management experience, as well as extensive experience in data warehousing and data analysis. She has held various IT positions at Jefferson Health over the past seven years. Currently, she is the Director of IT Applications for primary and specialty care in New Jersey, where she is responsible for the EMR application, staff training and workflow development and maintenance.
Director of Logistical Precision
Linda Carroll serves as the Director of Logistical Precision for primary and specialty care. With a bachelor’s degree from Towson University, Linda brings more than ten years of financial and administrative experience in integrated health care services, and accreditation in Medical Coding and Billing from Camden County College. In her current role, Linda oversees onboarding operations, facility functionality and compliance, and provides oversight for the credentialing department.
Regional Practice Manager
Nicki Bodenstein, Regional Practice Manager, is a cum laude graduate of Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in Glassboro, NJ. She began her career in healthcare over 30 years ago as a coordinator for the Memorial Hospital of Burlington County (now Virtua Memorial Hospital of Burlington County). She has worked throughout multiple healthcare delivery organizations, and has expanded her expertise to include business administration and management skills. She also has experience in developing and implementing business strategies and operational framework to best ensure patient satisfaction.
Regional Practice Manager
Pamela DelBuono has been working in management in the healthcare industry for 30 years. A magna cum laude graduate, Ms. DelBuono earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University and a Certificate in Executive Management from Notre Dame University. Prior to joining Jefferson Health, Ms. DelBuono gained extensive experience in practice administration for a number of primary and specialty care practices. She has developed advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, process engineering and change management skills, as well as the management of financial operations. Ms. DelBuono joined primary and specialty care in 2014.
Regional Practice Manager
Mary Guglielmo, Regional Practice Manager, has been working in healthcare administration for more than thirty years. Ms. Guglielmo earned her Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) degree from the University of Phoenix. Her extensive healthcare background ranges from education coordination at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine) to practice management of a large surgical office in South Jersey. Currently, Ms. Guglielmo oversees operations of KHA’s specialty services, including General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Gastroenterology, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Breast Surgery.
Regional Practice Manager
Moses Battise, Regional Practice Manager, received his Masters of Health Administration from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA and his Bachelors of Science from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Maryland. He is currently enrolled at Villanova University in pursuit of a Six Sigma Certification, which focuses on streamlining processes and eliminating waste in order to generate increased revenue. Moses joined Jefferson Health in 2017 as the Practice Manager of Voorhees Primary & Specialty Care and has helped with the tremendous growth of that practice.
Regional Practice Manager
Danielle Zattoni, Regional Practice Manager, received her Bachelors of Health Science from Wilmington University in New Castle, DE and is currently enrolled in the Master’s Program of Healthcare Administration through Wilmington University. Mrs. Zattoni has experience managing physician practices and has over 15 years experience as a Clinical Director in the dental field. She is certified in personal training and nutrition through the American Aerobic Association and Internal Sports Medicine Association. Mrs. Zattoni joined Jefferson Health in 2018.
