Trina Poretta, DO

Medical Director of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center — Washington Township, Dr. Poretta is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Poretta joined Comprehensive Cancer & Hematology Specialists, P.C. – which has offices in Sewell, and Voorhees, NJ -- following her Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology (1999-2002). A Fellow of the American college of Osteopathic Internists, Dr. Poretta is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Osteopathic Association, among others.

Michele Fantazzio, MD, FACS

Dr. Fantazzio is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Prior to joining our team, she served on the Physician Leadership and Cancer Liaison Committees at Virtua. Dr. Fantazzio is a member of the New Jersey and Camden County Medical Societies.

Diane R. Gillum, MD, FACS

Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Gillum holds specialized certifications from the American Society of Breast Surgeons in Breast Ultrasound, Mastery of Breast Surgery, and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Association of Women Surgeons. Dr. Gillum is the former Medical Director of the Breast Health Program at Virtua West.

Kahyun “Kay” Yoon-Flannery, DO, MPH

Dr. Yoon-Flannery, who completed a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, performs all aspects of breast surgery, including lumpectomy, skin-sparing mastectomy, nipple-sparing mastectomy, and axillary lymph node procedures. A member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Dr. Yoon-Flannery is also certified in Hidden Scar™ Breast Cancer Surgery.

Theodore N. Tsangaris, MD, FACS

A Fellowship-trained breast surgeon, and board certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Tsangaris is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of many professional societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Emma-Ruth Paz-Querubin, APN, NP-C

Emma-Ruth Paz-Querubin, APN, NP-C, is a Nurse Practitioner with the Comprehensive Breast Center located at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center – Washington Township. A licensed Advance Practice Nurse (APN) with Paz-Querbin has more than 20 years experience in her field, and holds certification in chemotherapy and biotherapy treatment administration. She joined Jefferson Health - New Jersey from Hackensack (NJ) University Medical Center. Previously, she had also worked with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in East Orange, NJ, and as an Oncology RN/Charge Nurse at MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston, TX. Paz-Querubin is a member of the Academy of American Nurse Practitioners and the Oncology Nursing Society.

Christopher Bariana, DO

A 2006 graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Christopher Bariana completed his General Surgery Residency (as Chief Resident) at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (then UMDNJ-SOM) in June 2011. He underwent Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH, and is board certified in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery through the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). A resident of Mullica Hill, NJ, Dr. Bariana currently serves as Medical Director of Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Esophageal, and Foregut Disease for Jefferson Health – New Jersey.

Jason Becker, DO

Dr. Jason Becker is a Fellowship-trained Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician with the Kennedy Health Alliance. He received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY, and completed his Internship and Residency at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM). Dr. Becker is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. He holds memberships in the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.

Joseph J. DeLaurentis, MD

Dr. Joseph DeLaurentis is a board certified Radiologist and longtime member of the Jefferson Health New Jersey Medical Staff. A graduate of the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, he completed his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Philadelphia’s Albert Einstein Medical Center in 1984. Dr. DeLaurentis is a Clinical Professor at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, and a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the New Jersey Medical Society.

Morris M. Eisen, DO

A 1979 graduate of Des Moines University in Des Moines, IA, Dr. Morris Eisen completed his Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency (as Chief Resident) at Hahnemann University Hospital in 1986. He underwent Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital, and is board certified in Vascular Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery through the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). Dr. Eisen currently serves as a Vascular and Cardiothoracic Surgeon for Jefferson Health – New Jersey.

Jay G. Kirkham, DO, MS

A graduate of Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, AZ, Dr. Jay Kirkham completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM) in 2017. Dr. Kirkham also completed his Internship and Residency at RowanSOM, and holds a master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the NJ Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons.

Duane Monteith, MD

Dr. Duane Monteith is a 2002 graduate of Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed a General Surgery Residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY, serving as Chief Resident in 2006-2007. Dr. Monteith also undertook three-year Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship training at New York University Medical Center in New York City (2008-2011). Board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, Dr. Monteith serves as Medical Director of Thoracic Oncology and is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Eastern Cardiothoracic Surgical Society, and the Medical Society of New Jersey, among others. He resides in Southampton, NJ.

Robert Principato, DO

Robert Principato, DO Dr. Principato is Fellowship-trained in Angiography/Interventional Radiology and holds a master’s degree in Anatomy from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (A.O.B.R.), Dr. Principato has been in practice for more than 28 years. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic College of Radiology, and the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.

Michael I. Rotkowitz, MD

A graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, Dr. Rotkowitz was Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Rotkowitz completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY, and he also holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Hematology, and the American Board of Medical Oncology, Dr. Rotkowitz is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Rotkowitz resides in Moorestown, NJ.

Dr. Nicole Scivoletti-Polan

Dr. Nicole Scivoletti-Polan is a member of the Kennedy Health Alliance, and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care. A 2007 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), Dr. Scivoletti-Polan completed Fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care in 2013 through Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM). Alan Shienbaum, DO, FCAP, FASCP

Dr. Alan Shienbaum is a 1994 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed a Fellowship in Cytopathology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania (Hahnemann University Hospital) in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Shienbaum also undertook Residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Temple University Hospital in New York City (1995-1999). Board certified in Cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology, Dr. Shienbaum is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic College of Pathologists, the Philadelphia Pathology Society, and the South Jersey Pathology Society, among others. He resides in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

Jay Steinberg, DO

A 1998 graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, NY, Dr. Jay Steinberg also holds a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in New York. He completed his Surgery Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, where he was also a Clinical Assistant Instructor. Dr. Steinberg underwent Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Board certified through the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, Dr. Steinberg serves as Medical Director of Thoracic Surgery and is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Association, the Camden County Medical Society, and the Medical Society of New Jersey. He resides in Voorhees, NJ.

Douglas B. Tsai, MD

Douglas Bye-Jeh Tsai, MD, MS Certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Tsai graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Fellowship-trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, he also earned a master’s degree in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. Dr. Tsai is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

Tamara A. LaCouture, MD

Medical Director Board Certified in Radiation Oncology, Dr. LaCouture has been recognized as a "Top Doc" in her field by SJ Magazine, Philadelphia Magazine and Inside Jersey. A graduate of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. LaCouture is a member of multiple professional societies, including the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, the Radiosurgery Society, and the American College of Radiology.

W. Ross Green, MD

A 2012 graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Green completed his Residency in Radiation Oncology at Rutgers Institute of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident in 2016-2017. Dr. Green also completed a Residency in Brachytherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He is a member the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) and the American College of Radiation Oncology.

Theresa Carducci, MSN, RN, CCRP

Theresa M. Carducci, MSN, RN, CCRP, is an Oncology Research Coordinator at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center – Washington Township, NJ. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, with focus on clinical trials and research, from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and earned her BA in psychology from Widener University in Chester, PA. Ms. Carducci serves on the Jefferson Health – New Jersey Institutional Review Board and is a member of the national Oncology Nursing Society.

Abigale Hassel, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C

Abigale Hassel, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, has worked in the field of Oncology Social Work for nearly 10 years. A Licensed Clinical Social worker, Abigale holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work (MSW) from Rutgers University. An Oncology Certified Social Worker, she is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW).

Colette Hyatt, MS, LCGC

Colette Hyatt, MS, LCGC, is a Cancer Genetic Counselor for Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center in Philadelphia and Washington Township, NJ. She has two master of science degrees – one in Genetic Counseling from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA, and another in Bioethics from Union Graduate College & Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NY. Ms. Hyatt is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling, and is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.

Trudi Mitana RN BSN OCN

Trudi Mitana, BSN, RN, OCN, is an Oncology Certified Nurse. Trudi has more than 17 years of experience in medical, surgical and radiation oncology nursing. She graduated from Gloucester County College School of Nursing, and received her Bachelors degree in Nursing from Thomas Edison State University. Trudi is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigators (AONN).

Sandy Murray RN, OCN, ONN-CG, CTTS

Sandra Murray, RN, OCN, ONN-CG, CTTS, is an Oncology Certified Nurse, an Oncology Nurse Navigator Certified Generalist, as well as a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist. A member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigators (AONN), Sandy has nearly 25 years of oncology nursing experience. She is also involved in Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center – Washington Township’s Low-Dose CT Lung Cancer Screening Program, a Lung Cancer Screening Center of Excellence, and works with people who smoke to help them become tobacco-free.

Susan Saporito RN BSN OCN

Sue Saporito, RN, BSN, OCN, is an Oncology Certified Nurse and a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, TN. Sue has more than 30 years of nursing experience, including 16 years in the field of Oncology. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigators (AONN). Sue also oversees the Breast Cancer Survivors Support Group at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center – Washington Township.
